Tim is the Director of Library and Information Services at the University Health Network in Toronto. There he leads a team of information experts supporting patient care, discovery and the ongoing learning of healthcare professionals. Tim’s interest in technology led him to healthcare. He originally joined UHN in 1999 as a project manager in the hospital’s I.T. department. He started managing projects related to library automation, but ended up managing a large cross functional team of software developers and project people whose goal was to design, build, enhance and deploy clinical tools to link evidence at the point of care.
