What is a Poster Session?

Poster sessions are a great way to share ideas and research. The posters use visual design to demonstrate a tangible activity, project or concept. They do not need to follow formal research poster protocols, but are informative and concise; they capture data highlights and illustrate results and outcomes in a quick and engaging manner. During the poster presentation period, conference attendees can ask questions and learn more directly from the poster presenters.

Where can I view these presentations?

In person

Posters are presented in the EXPO Hall C in the North Building of the Metro Toronto Convention Centre (MTCC) on Thursday January 30 or Friday January 31, 2025 from 12pm-1pm. Each day will showcase different presentations. During that time, attendees are invited to visit the poster exhibits, inquire about the presenters’ work, and view the posters.

Online

Registered conference attendees will also have access to the digital image of the posters in the conference app as well – just search for a session by title and check under Session Files; or, use the FILTER to search for poster presentations by ‘Format’.
