Volunteering at Super Conference:
The annual OLA Super Conference is attended by over 4500 delegates, and our volunteers are an incredibly vital and valued part of what makes Super Conference so special.
Super Conference Planning Team
This team consists of representatives from each library sector. This is a two year term with one incoming and one seasoned member sitting on the planning team each year. The Super Conference Planning Team meets a few times a year both in person and online. Recruitment takes place in January so that you can attend your first planning meeting while you’re attending the conference! If you’re interested please let sector planner know, or send your questions to superconference@accessola.com
Session Convenors
Session convenors introduce speakers, help to facilitate Q&A, and create a warm environment for the speakers and attendees. Are you interested in convening a session at Super Conference? You will have the opportunity to indicate your interest in convening when you register. Once you indicate your interest, OLA staff or planners will be in touch with you to follow up and connect you with a speaker.
