Tania Duprey Stehlik is an elementary school teacher. She is of Indian and French Canadian descent and takes great pride in her mixed heritage from which the story of Violet is inspired.

Tania Stehlik, author of I Am Violet, will be signing in the Second Story Press booth #423 on Friday at 1:30 PM. A little girl looks around her and sees that some people are blue, some are green, some are red – the world is a rainbow and Violet herself is a wonderful mixture of her mom and dad. I Am Violet! A book for all babies and toddlers to celebrate the skin they are in.
