Danielle Arbour has been the Public Education Coordinator at the Alzheimer Society of Hamilton and Halton for the last 5 years. She studied Gerontology and Health Studies at McMaster University, along with a diploma in recreation therapy. She’s worked in long term care and hospital settings, specifically on the rehab, day program, ALC and behavioural units. Danielle has been instrumental in creating a partnership between the Alzheimer Society of Halton and BPL that allows us to offer high quality, informed programs such as Understanding Dementia and Recreation with Dementia, as well as staff and volunteer training.
