Interested in going to the Super Conference, but worried about the cost? We’ve got you covered! There are many ways you can get to the conference for less:
Become an OLA member or keep your membership up to date!
OLA members get the best possible registration rates. Join or renew, so your membership is up to date when you register for the Super Conference. Depending on how many days you attend, being a current OLA member means saving more than $250*!
Become a Premium Early Bird Delegate
Okay, we get it. Conference registration happens during the busiest time of year for some and registering is the last thing you want to think of.
But we also know that cost can be a barrier. That’s why this year, we introduced a new registration tier: the Premium Early Bird!
Premium Early Bird closes November 15, and after that date, prices go up. Our Regular Early Bird opens November 16 and closes Friday, January 4, with no exceptions. If you register after this time, it will cost you $65 more. And if you register onsite, it is another $65.
So be nice to your pocket: register during our two Early Bird periods!
Scholarships, Bursaries, and Discounts
OLA and our divisions offer a number of scholarships, including those for First Nation public library workers, northern library staff, and public library board members. Visit our Scholarships webpage for more information.
Save on Travel and Hotel Costs
If you need to travel and/or stay overnight, we have reserve hotel blocks where delegates can receive special rates. We also have discounted fares with Air Canada, Porter Airlines, the UP Express, and VIA Rail. Visit our Hotels and Travel webpage for more info and promo codes.
Consider Registering for One or Two Days
We’ve set a great schedule for the whole conference and we hope that you attend the full conference, but if you’re looking to save on registration, consider attending for one or two days.
The registration rate for OLA members during Premium Early Bird for one day is $275, for two days is $340, compared to Full Conference registration, which is $420 (HST not included).
