James Lorimer and Company publishes books for struggling and reluctant readers with an emphasis on diverse characters, settings, and situations. Many of our series are hi-lo and include sports novels; edgy, realistic fiction; and LGBTQ+ teen romances. Our non-fiction series include biographies of athletes who have overcome adversity and stories of young people who have been wrongfully convicted. We also publish issue-based graphic novels with strong female characters.
